English 7: A3, A4, B7, B8 Mrs. Springer This prompt sheet and ALL LEARNING LOGS MUST BE KEPT IN YOUR 3-RING BINDER. Your 1st QUARTER BINDER CHECK WILL BE Your Learning Logs are due ON THE SPECIFIED DATE for full credit. LEARNING LOGS WILL BE WRITTEN IN CLASS. Work on the 6 Traits of Writing: IDEAS, ORGANIZATION, VOICE, WORD CHOICE, SENTENCE FLUENCY, AND CONVENTIONS. Have some fun writing the prompts. Use your imagination. **Nov. 6/7 requires you to talk to a family member before you complete your learning log. YOU MUST WRITE AT LEAST 125 WORDS (about one page) FOR 50 POINTS. Be sure your word count is included under your name. In the upper right-hand corner of your paper, write your first and last name, the date, and the LL#. YOU WILL RECEIVE A BONUS STAMP WORTH 5 POINTS. Total = 50 points per week. LL#1: February 4th/5th After listening to The Well, by Mildred D. Taylor, write at least 125 words about your understanding of David's personality, and Hammer's too. Discuss two people in your life that remind you of these two brothers. LL #2: February 18th/19th: Write 125 words about Kory's presentation to our class. Discuss those things you remember best about the experiences he shared with us. LL#3:March 4th/5th Write 125 words about one of the books you have read during this quarter for your GRIZZLY BOOK CHALLENGE.
